Must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and thrive in a dynamic, results-driven, and flexible workplace Role & responsibilities As an MIS Specialist, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of our reporting systems and data analysis. Your primary responsibilities will include: Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Execute and manage regular, complex reconciliations of various financial and operational accounts to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact, handling and resolving internal/external stakeholder inquiries related to reports and data, ensuring clear and professional communication. MIS Management: Oversee the continuous maintenance, optimization, and operation of management information systems (MIS). Reporting & Analysis: Analyze large datasets, design and develop insightful reports (e.g., performance metrics, financial summaries), and present findings to aid strategic decision-making. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate data findings, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement process and system improvements. Qualifications Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or Business Administration. Technical Proficiency: Advanced Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas, Data Visualization). Demonstrated knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS) principles and architecture. Strong Data Analytics and Analytical Skills for processing, interpreting, and validating large, complex datasets. Experience with relevant reporting software/tools is a strong plus Core Competencies: Exceptional Attention to Detail and proven Problem-Solving capabilities to troubleshoot data issues efficiently. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills for collaborative teamwork and clear, concise report presentation to management. Previous experience in Accounting, Auditing, or Financial Reporting is a significant advantage
