Quality Inspector – Audio Gear & Headphones (Freshers Welcome)

Company: Headphone Zone (www.headphonezone.in)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (On-site)

Job Type: Full Time: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

About Us

Headphone Zone is India’s premier destination for audiophile headphones, earphones, and audio gear. We are a team obsessed with music and sound quality, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Chennai back-office team.

The Role

You will be the gatekeeper of product quality. Your main responsibility will be testing customer returns and warranty claims to figure out exactly what is wrong with a product—whether it’s a genuine manufacturing defect, user damage, or just a software glitch.

What You Will Do

• Inspect & Test: Unbox and thoroughly test returned headphones, IEMs, DACs, and cables for sound defects (like distortion or channel imbalance) and hardware issues.
• Diagnose: Identify cosmetic wear, physical damage, and functional faults.
• Document: Log clear, accurate test results and condition grades into our inventory system.
• Collaborate: Share your findings with the Customer Experience team to help them resolve customer claims quickly and fairly.
• Sort: Route tested items to the correct bins (restock, refurbishment, vendor return, or scrap).

Who We Are Looking For

• Freshers Welcome! You don't need years of corporate experience, but a genuine passion for music and audio gear is a must.
• A Sharp Ear: You can easily spot subtle sound issues like static, hiss, or one side being slightly louder than the other.
• High Attention to Detail: You treat small scratches and missing accessories with serious attention.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using basic computer tools (Google Sheets, email, inventory software).
• Preference : Any background or hobbyist interest in consumer electronics testing, PC building, or audio gear.
• Should Willing to use your Mobile with company provided adaptors to test.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
