Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented, motivated and skilled Senior Quality Engineer Specialist serves as the technical leader for Quality Engineering and Automation. This role owns automation architecture, framework strategy, AI-enabled testing adoption, and end-to-end quality engineering practices across Online and Mobile Banking platforms. The individual is responsible for creating scalable automation solutions that maximize coverage, reduce cycle times, and improve production quality outcomes.
Automation Architecture & Framework Engineering
- Expert-level experience designing enterprise automation frameworks
- Deep expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and API automation frameworks
- Strong development experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Design of highly scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation architectures
- Framework governance, standards, and automation accelerators
End-to-End Quality Engineering
- API, UI, Mobile, Backend, Integration, and E2E testing strategies
- Testability reviews and quality architecture consultation
- Quality engineering operating model design
- Risk-based validation strategies
- Performance & Chaos Engineering
- Performance engineering strategy and implementation
- Load, stress, scalability, endurance, and reliability testing
- Chaos engineering implementation and resilience validation
- Failure injection and recovery validation practices
- Observability and production monitoring integration
Accessibility Engineering
- Accessibility strategy and compliance validation

Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise automation strategy
- Design and govern automation frameworks supporting UI, API, backend, mobile, accessibility, performance, and chaos testing
- Establish automation standards, KPIs, and engineering best practices
- Drive CI/CD quality gate adoption and test optimization
- Lead AI-enabled Quality Engineering initiatives
- Mentor QE Specialists and Engineers across delivery teams
- Partner with Architects, Developers, Product Owners, and Leadership to improve overall quality outcomes
- Reduce regression cycle time, defect leakage, and production risk through automation innovation
- Establish automation coverage goals, engineering metrics, and continuous improvement roadmaps
- Drive a "Quality Built In" culture across Online and Mobile Banking platforms
