Quality Engineer 1

As a QA Engineer at Libre Wireless Technologies, you will play a crucial role in testing embedded systems, wireless streaming devices, and audio solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases, performing manual functional and regression testing, validating logs and system traces, testing audio quality and compatibility, verifying network streaming protocols, and managing defects using tools like JIRA. Additionally, you will contribute Python scripts for log parsing and automation of test tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute test cases for wireless streaming devices, audio playback, and connectivity features based on customer requirements. - Perform manual functional, regression, and system testing for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-enabled devices. - Validate UART/serial logs, debug outputs, and system traces to identify defects. - Test audio quality, synchronization, latency, and codec compatibility for streaming services. - Verify network streaming protocols such as DLNA, AirPlay, Chromecast, and Bluetooth A2DP. - Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA. - Contribute Python scripts for log parsing, wireless stress test support, and automation of test tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - 13 years of QA/testing experience in embedded software, wireless, or audio products. - Knowledge of wireless protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and Chromecast. - Experience in manual testing of audio quality and streaming scenarios. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and embedded device testing. - Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation. - Strong understanding of software testing concepts and defect lifecycle. It is good to have experience in audio codecs testing, wireless coexistence testing, familiarity with music streaming service certification processes, understanding of network debugging tools, and experience in automation frameworks.
