Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

Experience: 2-5 years Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineer to ensure that our products meet all necessary quality standards before they reach the customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, analyzing test results, and continuously improving quality procedures. Key Responsibilities: Inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Maintain and calibrate testing and inspection equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and supply chain to resolve quality-related issues. Prepare and maintain documentation such as inspection reports, deviation reports, and quality records. Participate in internal and external audits as required. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. Identify opportunities for process and product improvements based on quality data analysis. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field. 25 years of hands-on experience in quality control/assurance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) and inspection techniques. Experience with tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs. Knowledge of root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA). Proficient in MS Office and quality-related software (e.g., Minitab, SPC tools). Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Quality (e.g., ASQ CQE) Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles Experience working with ERP and QMS systems
