Job Summary: The Quality Assessor is responsible for reviewing and proofreading medical imaging reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with established guidelines and standards. Job description: Adequate knowledge of cross-sections (CT & MRI) and conventional Radiology anatomy. Identify any artifacts, discrepancies, or issues in the images that may affect diagnostic accuracy. Review radiologists' reports for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with clinical findings. Verify the accuracy of patient information, clinical findings, and diagnostic interpretations. Check for grammatical and typographical errors, as well as formatting inconsistencies. Pre and proofread the cases which have been signed off by radiologists. Adaptive to the requirements and flexible to our shifts. Follows policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the Radiology department. Communicate any errors or inconsistencies to the responsible healthcare professionals for correction. Know the difference between a normal and abnormal image. Analyse images for preliminary findings. Communicate with Radiologists about images. Stay updated on the latest developments in medical imaging terminology and reporting standards. Skills and experience: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in the Radiology field and Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and radiological procedures. Handled all types of CT and MRI procedures independently. Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
