Review product designs for compliance with international safety standards (IEC 60950-1, 60335-1, 60065, 62368-1). Conduct safety analysis, risk assessments, and technical evaluations. Prepare, execute, and document safety test procedures and test reports. Interface with certification bodies and testing laboratories for safety approvals. Support the design team in implementing safety-related design modifications. Interpret schematics, layouts, and bills of materials for safety evaluation. Conduct failure analysis and assist with root cause determination for non-compliance issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety standard revisions and their applicability. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field. 0 to 2 years of experience Hands-on experience in IEC 60950-1 (IT equipment) , IEC 60335-1 (household appliances) , IEC 60065 (AV equipment) , and IEC 62368-1 (audio/video, IT & communication equipment) . Proficient in the use of lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot testers, insulation resistance testers , and temperature measurement systems . Good communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance requirements to product design and testing.
