Job Title: Upstream Well Planning & Design Testing & Support We are looking for a self-motivated Upstream Wells engineer with expertise in Well Planning and design to join our team. The role involves providing testing and support for Well Construction product development, catering to our pioneer partner. Working in a dynamic environment, your technical proficiency will be crucial in ensuring the success of product delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Support Well Construction product development through testing - Collaborate with Business functions to comprehend and define business requirements, converting them into test designs - Validate business processes and workflows for the product suite following standard testing practices - Create Functional test cases based on feature requirements and maintain traceability - Identify and report logical defects, liaising with the development team to resolve them - Conduct various levels of testing including smoke, regression, and system integration - Facilitate UAT by engaging with business teams and end client SMEs - Manage backlog in the ALM tool Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations, focusing on drilling - Proficiency in Well Lifecycle and Well Construction business processes - Strong knowledge of drilling technologies and practices - Experience with Well Planning and design applications such as EDM/EDT, DrillPlan, etc. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team - Hands-on experience in engineering application testing and familiarity with ALM - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Willingness to work on-call and extended hours as required Mandatory Skills: Upstream - Oil and Gas Experience: 5-8 Years Join Wipro in reinventing the digital world.
