Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and executing test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing under supervision.
• Report, track, and verify defects using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, open project etc.).
• Collaborate with developers, senior QA engineers, and product teams to ensure product quality.
• Learn and apply testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies as per project requirements.
• Contribute to test documentation including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual testing and exposure to automation tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Completed a certification or course in Software Testing / Quality Engineering (preferred).
• Prior internship (6 months) in a reputed organization in the QA/Testing domain will be an added advantage.
