We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with expertise in firmware, functional, and regression testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of embedded and connected products. The role involves end-to-end test planning, product validation, defect management, and close collaboration with engineering teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
6 - 8 Years
Develop and execute functional, regression, and system-level test plans for firmware and product features.
Design and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and validation procedures.
Perform product validation to verify compliance with functional and quality requirements.
Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution and closure.
Collaborate with firmware, software, and product engineering teams to analyse issues and improve product quality.
Support release validation activities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Contribute to test automation and continuous quality improvement initiatives where applicable.
Support compliance and cybersecurity validation activities, including CRA-related requirements where required.

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in product validation, firmware testing, or quality assurance.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Good understanding of embedded systems and firmware development processes.
Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and MQTT is desirable.
Exposure to Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements and basic coding knowledge is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
A quality-focused professional with strong experience in functional and regression testing, product validation, and defect management, capable of ensuring reliable and high-quality firmware and embedded product releases.
