1. Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer with 2–4 years of experience in developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Python programming, backend development, REST APIs, databases, and software development best practices.
2. Technical Skills
- Programming Language: Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and exception handling.
- Frameworks: Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Database Management: Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB; writing SQL queries and database optimization.
- API Development: Experience developing, integrating, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Frontend Basics: Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub or GitLab.
- Testing and Debugging: Experience with unit testing, debugging, and frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
- Deployment: Basic knowledge of Linux, Docker, cloud platforms, and application deployment.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with asynchronous programming, third-party integrations, and AI/ML libraries is an advantage.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable Python applications.
- Build and maintain backend services using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external applications.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage, retrieve, and optimize application data.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production errors.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following established coding standards.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, project managers, and other team members.
- Perform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and maintain application quality.
- Integrate third-party services, libraries, and APIs based on business requirements.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, development planning, and sprint activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and support application deployment and maintenance.
4. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience and relevant technical skills may also be considered.
5. Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
