Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Platform Shared Services):

Location : Strictly Bangalore - WFO
Reports to Director of Global Support Operations & Engineering
Work Mode: 3 Days from Office

Headcount :4 positions

About the role:

IQGeo is seeking Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to build and evolve Platform Shared Services the authentication, sandboxing, and licensing capabilities that underpin IQGeo's product suite. These roles focus on solving complex engineering problems across web systems that serve multiple enterprise product lines and industry verticals.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications and platform services.
Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
Develop frontend applications using React/JavaScript/TypeScript.
Integrate frontend and backend components to deliver end-to-end features.
Build and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into applications.
Integrate LLM/AI APIs and related services into software applications.
Develop automated unit, integration, and API tests.
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and maintain software quality.
Work with Git and modern software development practices.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Take ownership of features from requirements through implementation and delivery.

AI Experience

Hands-on experience building applications where AI/LLM is part of the actual product is required.

Relevant experience includes:

LLM-based applications
Generative AI applications
RAG applications
LLM/API integration
OpenAI / Azure OpenAI or similar
LangChain / LangGraph or similar frameworks
Embeddings and vector databases
AI-powered search, chatbots, or assistants
AI-powered document processing
Prompt engineering for product-level AI functionality
AI agents or similar AI application workflows

Essential Qualifications

4–8 years of relevant software development experience
Strong hands-on Full Stack development experience
Strong Python backend development experience
Strong React/ReactJS and JavaScript/TypeScript experience
Experience building and integrating frontend and backend components
Experience developing REST APIs/web services
Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or similar
Experience with automated testing
Experience with Git/distributed version control systems
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile practices
Good communication skills and fluent English
Hands-on experience building applications that use AI/LLM as part of the product

Desired Qualifications

Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Docker and CI/CD
Experience with Linux
Experience with enterprise integration and web services
Experience with AI evaluation, testing, and reliability
Experience with multi-agent systems
Experience in telecom, utilities, GIS, or enterprise software domains

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience.
