Python Developer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Python Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting Python-based applications, debugging code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, communicate effectively, and be comfortable working in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing technical support for Python-based applications.
• Help debug and troubleshoot code to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development and quality teams to support issue resolution.
• Communicate proactively and clearly with team.
• Document technical issues and solutions to contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Support optimization of Python scripts and applications for performance and reliability.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• Python Programming: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like Flask, FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy.
• Ubuntu/Linux Experience: Comfortable navigating and working in Ubuntu-based environments.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive Communication: Ability to take initiative in reporting issues, sharing updates, and seeking help when needed.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
• Problem Solving: Logical thinking and a willingness to learn and debug code.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to OpenCV or image processing techniques.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and/or WebSocket.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environment.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
