Purple Audacity is inviting applications for Research Manager to join its Qualitative Research Portfolio. We’re looking for curious and driven individuals who are keen to co-create fresh, meaningful, and effective work with some of the leading brands in the country across sectors such as e-commerce, automobiles, personal care etc. It would be even better if you are also open to working in the development/ social sector in areas of health, hygiene, policy, sanitation, education, gender, and sexuality. Experience: We are looking for researchers with around 3 years of experience in qualitative research, design research, marketing, advertising, or brand strategy — individuals who are passionate about uncovering deep consumer insights and translating them into impactful brand and communication strategies. Education Masters/ Post graduate diploma/ MBA in communication, management, marketing, advertising, media, branding, design or behavioral sciences What/Who are we looking for? You must have an inkling to opine on society, culture, and human behavior. Have an itch to go beyond the surface to understand why people do what they do, why they buy categories the way they do, and why people love brands the way they do. You must, therefore, be inquisitive, constantly asking questions as you observe life unfold around you. An understanding of new sectors, media, technology, and tools, and how to best use them to the advantage of the brands’ objectives and people’s benefit is essential. You are expected to showcase an understanding of how to break down a brand’s problem/question; experience working across consumer cohorts, SECs, geographies, and research types; experience managing partner/client relationships and resolving conflicts; a stronghold on different aspects of research (moderation, analysis, writing research instruments, and decoding patterns and insights); managing people and utilizing their intelligence to work towards a common goal; and a good understanding of how to visualize, plan, and spend effectively on projects.
