Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Industrial Valves, Valve Components, Castings, Forgings, Raw Materials and Bought-out Items
Handle purchase.
Float enquiries, compare quotations, negotiate prices and release
Purchase Orders
.
Develop vendors and follow up for
quality, delivery and documentation
.
Coordinate with
Production, QC, Design and Stores
for material requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B.E. Mechanical with
25 years of Purchase experience
.
Candidates from Valve Manufacturing / Industrial Valve Purchase preferred.
Candidates who have handled
Valve Procurement / Valve Buying
in EPC, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharma or Process Industries are preferred.
Good knowledge of
Valve Components, Castings, Forgings, Material Grades, BOM and Engineering Items
.
Good negotiation, vendor development and
ERP/Excel
skills.
