Purchase Assistant and Material Planner

• Job Summary

The Purchase Assistant & Material Planner will support procurement activities and manage material scheduling to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials. This role bridges purchasing execution with supply planning, focusing on vendor coordination, inventory monitoring, and production support.

• Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Processing: Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders for raw and packaging materials.

• Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and quality issues.

• Material Scheduling: Align material availability with production plans to avoid shortages or delays.

• Inventory Monitoring: Track stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points to maintain optimal inventory.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.

• Cost Control: Assist in negotiations and monitor procurement spend to achieve savings.

• System Utilization: Use ERP/MRP systems (SAP B1) to manage material requirements and procurement workflows.

• Reporting: Prepare reports on purchase activities, supplier performance, and material availability.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
