Job Title: Mathematics Teacher (Classes 1–5) Location: Residential School Employment Type: Full-time, On-Campus Residency Preferred Role Overview You’ll teach foundational math concepts to students from Class 1 to 5, create a positive learning environment, and participate in the academic and residential life of the school. Key Responsibilities Teach math concepts appropriate for Classes 1 to 5, including number sense, basic operations, shapes, measurements, patterns and mental math. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and activities that match the learning level of each group. Use simple examples, hands-on activities and stories to make math engaging. Assess students regularly through classwork, worksheets, oral tests and term exams. Maintain accurate academic records and share progress updates with parents or guardians. Support slow learners with extra practice and provide enrichment activities for advanced students. Manage classroom discipline and encourage good study habits. Participate in morning routine, evening study hours and other residential duties assigned by the school. Help organize school events, competitions and co-curricular activities. Ensure student safety and well-being within the residential environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field. B.Ed preferred. Prior experience teaching primary classes is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English and the local language. Ability to manage young learners with patience and empathy.
