Protocol testing

Role Overview: As a Wi-Fi Infrastructure Test Automation Engineer at Alethea Communications Technologies, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Wi-Fi infrastructure solutions. Your role will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks and scripts to validate the performance and functionality of our products. To excel in this position, you should have a strong understanding of 5G concepts, in-depth knowledge of 3GPP protocol stack layers, experience with telecom test & measurement systems, and proficiency in debugging using logs. Additionally, you should be a quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Strong understanding of 5G concepts, including data performance, handover (HO), and IMS - In-depth knowledge of one or more layers of the 3GPP protocol stack (RRC, MAC, RLC, PDCP) - Experience with telecom test & measurement systems and tools - Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts using basic programming/logical concepts - Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and possess good written and verbal communication skills Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in a similar role - Exposure to test systems from Keysight, R&S, or Anritsu - Experience working on 5G programs of leading OEMs/operators or chip vendors - Willingness to travel and take ownership of tasks - Proficiency in developing and maintaining 5G signaling protocol scripts - Strong debugging skills and effective utilization of telecom test & measurement tools - Ability to implement automation using programming/logical concepts - Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear updates and technical explanations to team members and customers If you are interested in this opportunity and possess the required qualifications, please send your updated CV to m.adarsh@aletheatech.com.
