Job Title: Senior Azure Application Architect – .NET | Parking Meter Solutions No. Of Position-1 Location: Gurgaon/NCR Experience: 15+ years in Application Architecture and Development, including 5+ years in Azure Cloud ecosystem Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Application Architect with deep expertise in .NET technologies , cloud-native architecture , and disaster recovery strategies . The role involves designing, leading, and delivering end-to-end application architecture in a complex and mission-critical environment , particularly within the Parking Meter/Smart City domain . You will play a key role in defining and governing architecture across applications hosted on Microsoft Azure , ensuring high availability , scalability , resilience , and compliance in a real-time environment with 24/7 uptime requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of applications in the parking systems domain (e.g., parking meters, payment gateways, enforcement systems). Architect cloud-native and hybrid applications on Microsoft Azure , leveraging services such as Azure App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc. Define and implement disaster recovery (DR) and failover strategies to ensure zero downtime and business continuity in production environments. Design secure, scalable, and maintainable systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+ , C#, REST APIs, and microservices. Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Ensure adherence to cloud governance , compliance , and security best practices . Drive the modernization of legacy systems and integration with third-party solutions (e.g., payment gateways, sensors, IoT devices). Mentor development teams and participate in code/architecture reviews . Work closely with business stakeholders to align architectural goals with functional and non-functional requirements. Must-Have Skills: Azure Architecture Expertise : Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise applications on Azure. .NET Stack Mastery : Hands-on development and design expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, Web API, and Entity Framework. Expertise in Power BI report development , DAX, data modelling, and publishing dashboards. Experience building real-time and scheduled dashboards for operational visibility. Data Engineering : Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory , Azure SQL , Azure Synapse , or other data transformation tools Disaster Recovery & High Availability : Strong understanding of DR planning, geo-redundant failover , backup strategies, and HA configurations in Azure. Critical Environment Experience : Experience architecting and supporting applications in highly available , real-time , mission-critical environments . Microservices & API Gateway : Experience designing RESTful microservices using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure App Services. Security & Compliance : Familiarity with role-based access control, identity management (Azure AD), and data encryption. Good-to-Have: Experience in Smart City , Parking , Mobility , or Transport domain. Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience with event-driven architecture (Azure Event Hubs, Event Grid). Exposure to global rollouts and data residency concerns. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to communicate complex architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Education & Certification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
