Job Description: Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Company: Leading Corporate Client of Prompt Solutions Location: Chennai, India (Base Station) Job Type: Full-time, On-site Aircraft Fleet: Gulfstream G-150 (Current) & Gulfstream G-600 (Upcoming) 1. Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Pilot in Command (PIC) to lead our corporate flight operations in Chennai, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of the company’s Top Executives and premium clients. This role requires a pilot who combines technical mastery of the Gulfstream fleet with an unwavering commitment to safety and high-end executive hospitality. 2. Key Responsibilities: · Flight Operations: Lead all aspects of flight planning, including weather analysis, fuel requirements, and route selection. · Safety & Compliance: Conduct rigorous pre-flight and flight safety inspections. Ensure 100% adherence to DGCA regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). · Technical Management: Maintain meticulous and detailed flight records. Proactively coordinate with the Maintenance Team to manage and adhere to aircraft maintenance schedules. · Executive Service: Provide exceptional, Whiteglove customer service to Guests and Executives, collaborating with the support team to ensure a seamless and pleasant flight experience. · Operational Readiness: Maintain flexibility to adapt to varying travel schedules, ensuring the aircraft is mission-ready for both scheduled and short-notice requirements. 3. Technical Qualifications & Requirements: · Education: Any Graduate degree. · Flight Experience: * Minimum of 2,000 hours of Multi Engine Jet experience. · Prior experience in Commercial Airlines or Corporate Executive Aviation is mandatory. · Experience with Gulfstream G-150 or G-600 models is a significant advantage. · Licensing: * Minimum of a Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) with current medical certification. · Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License is highly preferred. · ICAO English Proficiency: Minimum Level 4 required. · Safety Record: A documented accident/incident-free flying record for the last 3 years. 4. Core Competencies: · Leadership: Strong command ability with a focus on team collaboration and crew resource management. · Professionalism: Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under high-pressure situations. · Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored for interaction with C-suite executives. · Risk Assessment: Expert understanding of safety protocols and the ability to perform comprehensive pre- and post-flight risk assessments. 5. Important Notes for Applicants: Geographic Preference: Preference will be given to pilots currently based in South India with a background in Commercial or Corporate Jet operations. Relocation: Candidates currently based outside South India who are willing to relocate to Chennai will be considered. Fleet Growth: This role offers the unique opportunity to transition into the operation of the sophisticated G-600 as the company fleet expands.
