About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to manage end-to-end signage and branding projects, from project initiation and planning to manufacturing, installation and final handover.
The candidate will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, client coordination, production follow-ups, site execution, quality control and timely project delivery.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of signage manufacturing, fabrication, printing, electrical assembly and installation, along with excellent project management and team coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Management
- Manage end-to-end signage and branding projects from initiation to completion.
- Understand project requirements, scope, BOQs, technical specifications and approved drawings.
- Prepare project schedules, execution plans, budgets and timelines.
- Define project milestones and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Identify project risks, delays and challenges and implement corrective measures.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Technical Knowledge – Signage & Branding
- Manage projects involving:
- Indoor and outdoor signage.
- Wayfinding and directional signage systems.
- Corporate logos and branding elements.
- Illuminated and non-illuminated signage.
- Acrylic, SS, MS and aluminium signage.
- LED signage and electrical components.
- UV printing, vinyl printing and graphic applications.
- Wall and glass graphics.
- Environmental Graphic Design (EGD).
- Customised fabrication and branding installations.
- Understand technical drawings, artwork, material specifications and fabrication details.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure project execution meets approved designs and specifications.
3. Production & Factory Coordination
- Coordinate with factory and production teams for manufacturing schedules and project requirements.
- Follow up on material availability, procurement and production progress.
- Ensure manufactured signage meets approved drawings and quality standards.
- Monitor production timelines and resolve manufacturing-related delays.
- Coordinate with QC teams for inspection and approval before dispatch.
- Ensure timely packing, dispatch and delivery of finished products to project sites.
4. Site Execution & Installation Management
- Plan and coordinate site surveys, measurements and installation activities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors and installation teams.
- Ensure availability of materials, manpower, tools and equipment at project sites.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedules.
- Resolve site-related technical and execution challenges.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and installation standards.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure successful project completion.
5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Manage client communications, approvals and project-related escalations.
- Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors and vendors.
- Ensure alignment between client commitments and internal execution capabilities.
- Maintain professional client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Quality Control & Project Delivery
- Ensure signage products meet approved specifications, dimensions, colours and finishing standards.
- Monitor fabrication quality, printing accuracy, electrical connections and illumination.
- Coordinate quality inspections during manufacturing and installation.
- Minimize rework, material wastage and project execution errors.
- Ensure timely resolution of defects and client observations.
- Obtain client approvals and final project sign-offs.
- Complete project documentation and handover reports.
7. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost estimates.
- Track project expenses against approved budgets.
- Monitor material consumption, labour costs and installation expenses.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for cost control.
- Identify opportunities to improve project profitability.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials and other resources.
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Maintain project schedules, BOQs, drawings, approvals and execution records.
- Track pending materials, approvals, site readiness and project dependencies.
- Report project delays, risks and critical issues to management.
- Maintain proper project closure and handover documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 5–8 years of experience in project management, preferably in signage or branding projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of signage manufacturing, fabrication, printing and installation.
- Understanding of metal, acrylic, LED, electrical and finishing processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOQs and specifications.
- Strong project planning, execution and coordination skills.
- Experience in managing production teams, site engineers and installation teams.
- Client handling and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledge of project budgeting, costing and resource planning.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project and other project management tools.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
