Job Description

Lochan & Co. is looking for experienced and technically sound Project Engineers (Civil) to manage, coordinate, and monitor civil construction projects across multiple locations in Chhattisgarh.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project execution, planning, quality control, contractor management, progress monitoring, and coordination with clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor civil construction project activities from execution to completion.
• Ensure project execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, resource allocation, and overall progress.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Review construction drawings, BOQs, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities at project sites.
• Verify work progress, measurements, quantities, and contractor bills.
• Identify project risks, execution delays, and technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Support project management activities, including planning, documentation, reporting, and coordination.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with strong relevant project experience may be considered.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project execution preferred.
• Experience in building construction, institutional projects, or infrastructure development.
• Prior experience in project coordination, execution monitoring, and contractor management.
• Experience in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) projects will be an added advantage.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and execution monitoring.
• Experience in QA/QC, site inspections, and construction supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera will be an advantage.
• Experience in billing, quantity verification, and project documentation.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be willing to work at project locations across Chhattisgarh.
• Ability to independently coordinate and monitor multiple construction activities.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days preferred.
