Project Design Engineer

Role Description The Project Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing data center and mission-critical infrastructure solutions, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and related engineering systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design proposals and technical drawings, conducting feasibility studies, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring designs meet industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications. The role involves supporting project planning, assisting in cost estimation, and providing technical input during installation, testing, and optimization phases. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hyderabad, where the team member will work partly on-site and partly from home, depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Project Design and Design Engineering, with experience in infrastructure or data center environments.
• Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills, including knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, and related mechanical components.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, including power distribution, UPS systems, and electrical safety standards.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Understanding of industry standards and best practices for mission-critical and data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in CAD and design tools, along with basic familiarity with simulation or modeling software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in turnkey projects or mission-critical infrastructure is an advantage.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
