Role Description This is a full-time, remote position for a Mobile Application Senior Security Consultant. The consultant will spearhead risk assessments, conduct security audits, facilitate penetration testing, and provide strategic advice on enhancing mobile application security measures. Responsibilities include collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams, staying updated on the latest security threats specific to mobile platforms, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying security countermeasures and resolving vulnerabilities while maintaining documentation of processes and findings. Qualifications Technical expertise in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), secure coding practices, and cryptographic methodologies. Strong knowledge of mobile application security frameworks, security tools such as static/dynamic analysis, and risk analysis for mobile ecosystems. Experience in managing incident response for mobile applications, including incident reporting, forensic analysis, and mitigation plans. Proficiency in compliance auditing frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and industry security best practices. Exceptional communication and report-writing skills that clearly convey technical findings to stakeholders with diverse backgrounds. Proven ability to collaborate with application developers, business stakeholders, and IT teams to implement secure best practices effectively. Bachelor's or advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a strong advantage. Ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies and threats in the cybersecurity space, with an innovative mindset for problem-solving.
