Job Description

Lead the academic and industry development of the MSc so that it becomes known for rigorous, practice-led learning, deep employer engagement and graduates capable of contributing in procurement, planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, distribution, consulting and supply-chain transformation.

Work with the French institution's colleagues, the reputed Indian partner University, visiting faculty and industry practitioners to create a globally informed programme grounded in India’s operational context.

What you will lead

1. Turn industry needs into a practical curriculum.

Translate current and emerging employer requirements into course outcomes, applied assignments and demonstrable graduate competencies. Keep the curriculum relevant across end-to-end supply-chain strategy, procurement and sourcing, demand forecasting, inventory planning, production and operations, transport, warehousing, distribution, network design, international trade, risk, finance, analytics, digital systems and sustainable supply chains. Integrate data-driven decision-making, ERP and planning systems, supply-chain visibility, automation, AI-enabled applications and performance measurement at an appropriate level for the cohort.

2. Build partnerships that produce real learning and career value

  • Develop relationships with manufacturers, OEMs and suppliers; procurement and sourcing teams; 3PL and 4PL providers; freight forwarders; ports and cargo operators; warehouse and industrial-park operators; retailers; ecommerce and quick-commerce firms; FMCG businesses; cold-chain operators; supply-chain technology firms and consultancies. Build a deliberate partnership portfolio across the country but more focused on Mumbai/MMR, Pune–Chakan– Talegaon and Nashik–Sinnar, while using KEDGE’s international network to bring global cases and perspectives into the programme. Convert relationships into live briefs, company-sponsored projects, internships, mentoring, practitioner sessions, plant and warehouse visits, access to suitable operational data and recruitment conversations. Prioritise a smaller number of active, reciprocal partnerships over ceremonial MoUs. Track what each partnership delivers for students, employers and programme quality. Establish an industry advisory group that challenges the curriculum, identifies emerging capability gaps and helps assess student work.

3. Lead teaching, faculty and academic quality Teach and coordinate postgraduate courses in areas of expertise, modelling analytical, discussion-led and practiceoriented teaching. Identify, brief and coordinate industry practitioners and visiting faculty; ensure each contribution connects to clear learning outcomes. Supervise capstones and applied research that address meaningful company or sector problems, while maintaining appropriate academic standards. Use student feedback, assessment performance, employer input and placement outcomes to improve the programme continuously. Build a teaching team that combines academic depth with current operational and managerial experience.
