Professor / Associate Professor Radiology

As a Professor or Associate Professor in Radiology at Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR), located in Muddenahalli, Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic journey of future doctors while contributing to a technologically advanced radiology department supporting tertiary-level patient care. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for delivering lectures and tutorials for MBBS students in accordance with NMC guidelines. Your role will also involve supervising and assessing clinical postings, radiology demonstrations, and student learning. Additionally, you will guide students in research projects, seminars, and academic presentations, participate in and lead departmental academic activities, radiology rounds, and journal clubs, contribute to curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment methods, and provide clinical expertise in interpreting diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, USG, CT, MRI, etc. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver lectures and tutorials for MBBS students as per NMC guidelines - Supervise and assess clinical postings, radiology demonstrations, and student learning - Guide students in research projects, seminars, and academic presentations - Participate in and lead departmental academic activities, radiology rounds, and journal clubs - Contribute to curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment methods - Provide clinical expertise in interpreting diagnostic imaging (X-rays, USG, CT, MRI, etc.) - Supervise and support residents and junior faculty in clinical and teaching roles - Ensure adherence to ethical radiology practices, patient safety, and reporting protocols - Contribute to hospital-based and community radiology services - Maintain compliance with NMC, NABH, and institutional standards **Qualification Required:** - MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis as per NMC norms - Professor: Minimum 8 years total teaching experience, including 3 years as Associate Professor - Associate Professor: Minimum 5 years total teaching experience after post-graduation If you choose to join us, you will have the opportunity to work in a mission-driven, rural medical college and hospital with access to modern diagnostic imaging infrastructure, a collaborative and academically stimulating environment, on-campus housing, and other benefits to be discussed during the hiring process.
