Production manager (Peptide) chemist

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with expertise in peptide manufacturing to oversee production operations, ensure compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards, and achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day peptide manufacturing and production activities.

Supervise peptide synthesis, cleavage, purification, isolation, and related downstream processes, as applicable.

Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor production planning, batch manufacturing records, yields, and process efficiency.

Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), R&D, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.

Investigate deviations, implement CAPA, and support root-cause analysis.

Ensure equipment qualification, process consistency, and timely batch completion.

Lead, train, and supervise production staff.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness.

Candidate Requirements

Education: M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, or a relevant qualification.

Experience: Relevant experience in peptide/API manufacturing and production management.

Strong knowledge of peptide synthesis, purification, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Experience with cGMP documentation, batch records, deviations, and CAPA.

Good team management, troubleshooting, and production planning skills.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in peptide manufacturing, API production, and scale-up operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
