Job Description Join us as a Production Management Specialist We’ll look to you to support the provision of the day-to-day technology-based services across infrastructure platforms You’ll be undertaking a lead technical role in production management and providing technical expertise in support of IT systems and acting as a recognised subject matter expert in one or more technology platforms It’s an opportunity to contribute to the overall vision and strategy for production management and support the leadership team We're offering this role at vice president level What you'll do As a Production Management Specialist, you’ll use your expertise in production management for an area or product to make sure that there’s availability for business use in line with the agreed service level expectations or requirements. You’ll be collaborating with and influencing colleagues and stakeholders across the bank and third-party suppliers on the area of specialist knowledge service, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions which support the business. Day to day, you’ll be: Managing in-bound work requests and scheduling workloads based on the agreed business requirements Supporting ongoing development of technology roadmaps and making sure that the recovery plans meet the bank's needs Helping to make sure that resilient applications, infrastructure and recovery plans meet the business recovery requirements Undertaking ongoing evaluation and analysis of current capacity to provide the required performance, liaising with other technology representatives to optimise value to the business Contributing to our production management strategies and reviewing our SOX controls The skills you'll need We’re looking for someone with a strong technical understanding, including platform, technology, products and domains. You’ll need a good understanding of Identifying patterns, detecting anomalies and an understanding of system behavior based on collected data. You’ll also demonstrate: Experience in Terraform, PromQL and automating tasks along with knowledge of Shell Scripting and Python Problem solving ability, building dashboards and visualizations to provide a clear picture of system health and performance Experience in cloud platforms such as GCP AWS and Azure Experience in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana and Open Telemetry Show more Show less
