Job Description

Execute production activities as per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch manufacturing records and production plans.
Handle manufacturing processes, including raw material dispensing, weighing, mixing, blending, processing and packaging.
Ensure proper handling, identification and usage of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
Monitor production parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, mixing time and other process requirements.
Ensure accurate recording of batch manufacturing records, process data and production-related documentation.
Coordinate with Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Warehouse and Engineering departments for smooth production operations.
Ensure equipment, machinery and production areas are clean and maintained as per prescribed procedures.
Follow GMP, safety guidelines and housekeeping standards throughout manufacturing activities.
Identify process deviations, equipment abnormalities and production issues and report them to the supervisor.
Support troubleshooting activities and implement corrective actions to minimize production losses.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, raw materials, equipment and other production resources.
Monitor production output, yield, rejection and process losses and report any deviations.
Ensure proper storage, handling and disposal of chemicals and production waste as per safety requirements.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, product quality and operational efficiency.
