You'll also be expected to directly handle customer queries, troubleshoot product issues, and support customers when required
We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills and believes that no customer problem is too small to understand and solve.
What You'll Do
1. Product Strategy & Ownership
-
Own and drive the product roadmap, aligning priorities with business objectives and customer needs.
-
Manage the complete product lifecycle, from identifying problems and defining requirements to development, launch, and continuous improvement.
-
Translate customer feedback and business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and actionable tasks.
-
Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
-
Take accountability for product quality, usability, delivery timelines, and overall outcomes.
2. Product Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
-
Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, feature acceptance, and release readiness.
-
Identify bottlenecks, resolve dependencies, and proactively follow up on pending deliverables.
-
Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to ensure smooth product launches.
-
Take ownership of problems from identification through resolution rather than simply passing them to another team.
3. Customer Support & Issue Resolution
-
Step in to handle customer support queries whenever required
, alongside regular product management responsibilities.
-
Communicate directly with teachers, school administrators, and other customers to understand their challenges and provide practical solutions.
-
Troubleshoot platform-related issues, investigate reported bugs, and coordinate with engineering for timely resolution.
-
Handle customer escalations professionally, ensuring clear communication, appropriate prioritization, and follow-through.
-
Support customers during critical assessment periods, product rollouts, or situations requiring immediate attention.
-
Assist with product demonstrations, onboarding, and feature walkthroughs whenever needed.
-
Ensure customer issues are properly documented, tracked, and resolved, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
-
Identify recurring support issues and convert customer feedback into product improvements, better workflows, or self-service resources.
Customer support is not the primary function of this role, but being willing and capable of handling it when required is an essential expectation.
4. Customer Insights & Product Improvement
-
Engage regularly with educators, administrators, and internal teams to understand user pain points.
-
Analyze customer feedback, support tickets, feature requests, and product usage patterns.
-
Identify opportunities to improve usability, reduce customer friction, and increase adoption.
-
Work toward eliminating recurring issues through better product design and functionality.
-
Monitor product performance and use data to make informed decisions.
5. Communication & Accountability
-
Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal teams and customers.
-
Provide regular updates on product progress, development priorities, and outstanding issues.
-
Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, ensuring commitments are met and problems are followed through to resolution.
-
Be adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
