About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Product Manager with 4–8 years of experience building consumer internet products, ideally mobile-first apps where user engagement, retention, and growth are central to the business.
At FOXO, you'll work directly with the founders, designers, engineers, doctors, and business teams to identify consumer problems, shape product direction, and take ideas from discovery to launch. You'll use customer insights and data to make decisions, improve user experiences, and drive measurable product outcomes.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature roadmap. You'll help build one. We're looking for someone with strong product judgment, an analytical mindset, and the ability to execute independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You'll Do:
- Own product initiatives end to end: Drive problem discovery, prioritization, development, launch, and post-launch improvements.
- Build great mobile experiences: Improve onboarding, navigation, user journeys, and the overall experience of using a consumer app.
- Understand consumer behaviour: Use customer interviews, feedback, behavioural data, and competitive research to identify opportunities.
- Drive product direction: Work with the founders to shape the roadmap and prioritize problems based on customer needs and business impact.
- Partner with Design and Engineering: Translate problems into clear user flows, product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Use data to drive decisions: Analyse funnels, cohorts, activation, engagement, and retention to identify drop-offs and opportunities for improvement.
- Experiment and iterate: Test ideas, evaluate outcomes, and continuously improve the product based on evidence.
- Drive execution: Make trade-offs, resolve bottlenecks, coordinate releases, and maintain a high bar for product quality.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with doctors and business teams to translate domain expertise into useful consumer experiences.
- Explore AI opportunities: Identify where AI can meaningfully improve the user experience or solve a real consumer problem.
What We're Looking For:
Must Have
- 4–8 years of hands-on Product Management experience, preferably in B2C or consumer internet.
- Experience at a consumer internet company building products used directly by consumers, where engagement, retention, or growth mattered.
- Strong understanding of mobile app fundamentals, including onboarding, user journeys, navigation, funnels, and repeat usage.
- Demonstrated ownership of product initiatives from discovery through launch and subsequent iteration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use product data and customer insights to make decisions.
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong product sense and attention to detail, with an understanding of the trade-offs between user experience, business outcomes, and engineering effort.
- Ability to work directly with founders, make decisions with incomplete information, and drive projects independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A bachelor's degree from a Tier-I college or other leading undergraduate institution.
Good to Have
- Experience improving activation, conversion, engagement, retention, or other core consumer product metrics.
- Experience building mobile apps in health, wellness, lifestyle, fintech, commerce, or other consumer-focused categories.
- Familiarity with Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, PostHog, or similar product analytics tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Figma, Jira, Notion, and AI-powered productivity tools.
- Experience with AI/LLM-powered products. Prior AI experience is not a requirement.
Location & Work Model:
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- Work Model: Full-time, on-site at FOXO's Bengaluru office.
- Relocation: Candidates currently based outside Bengaluru must be willing to relocate.
What Success Looks Like:
- Identifying high-impact consumer problems and turning them into simple, intuitive product experiences.
- Shipping quality mobile experiences with minimal supervision.
- Improving activation, engagement, retention, and other meaningful product metrics.
- Making product decisions grounded in customer behaviour, data, and sound judgment.
- Taking ownership of outcomes rather than simply delivering features.
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- Paid sick time
- Paid time off
- Provident Fund
