Product Manager - Digital Personal Loan

Job Purpose

Open Market Personal Loan

Key Responsibilities:

a) Business ownership of product and technology initiatives:

• Own business requirements for new initiatives: define the problem, expected outcomes, and priorities, and align them with product teams
• Partner with product, development, and QA teams from scoping through to UAT sign-off, clarifying requirements, reviewing solutions, and resolving open questions
• Drive business UAT: define test scenarios, validate outcomes, and give timely sign-off decisions
• Run the weekly project status forum from the business side, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations
• Escalate and unblock issues with IT and product leadership when timelines or scope are at risk

b) Business operations and production support:

• Be the business point of contact for production issues: assess customer and business impact, prioritise with IT, and track resolution and root cause
• Own business-side changes to the IRR grid and the monthly base upload cycle (IRR mapping, PAN-Aadhaar linkage, negative pincode removal, system upload), working with IT to execute them accurately
• Ensure operational readiness for releases, including communication to sales, credit, and operations teams

c) Risk, compliance, and governance:

• Act as Risk SPOC for the business
• Resolve queries from Risk, Infosec, and Compliance, and provide the required artefacts and evidence
• Ensure initiatives meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements before go-live

Job Requirements:

• Graduate / Postgraduate / MBA from Tier I/II institutions
• 8 - 12 years of experience with proven experience in lending, fintech, or financial services
• Strong people focus & Industry Insights
• Demonstrated interest and involvement in diversity initiatives
• Experience of on digital products or technology projects from the business
• Effective planning and project management capabilities
• Excellent Consulting and influencing skills
