Product Manager | CNS

Role & responsibilities

• Brand Strategy & Market Research:

  Develop brand plans, product positioning strategies, and marketing initiatives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

• Sales Analysis & Performance Tracking:

  Analyse territory-wise (HQ-wise) and product-wise sales data, monitor performance against targets, identify gaps, and coordinate with sales teams to improve business performance.

• Field Training & Mentoring:

  Conduct joint field visits, assess medical representatives communication and promotional skills, provide on-field training, and support the onboarding of new team members.

• Product Launch & Campaign Management:

  Plan and execute product launches, promotional campaigns, sample distribution, and marketing activities. Monitor campaign effectiveness and ensure timely execution.

• Promotional Content Development:

  Prepare and update product presentations, visual aids, training manuals, and promotional materials for the sales force.

• Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination:

  Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on marketing activities, purchase orders, documentation, and payment follow-ups.

• Medical & KOL Engagement:

  Build professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to gather market insights and support brand development.

• Sales Force Training:

  Conduct product training sessions on product knowledge, clinical benefits, competitive positioning, and safety information.

• Budget & Forecast Management:

  Support demand forecasting, manage marketing budgets, and monitor expenditure to ensure efficient resource utilization.

• Regulatory Compliance & Lifecycle Management:

  Ensure promotional activities comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulations and company policies. Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and product lifecycle optimization.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Qualification:

  B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc. (Life Sciences), or an equivalent qualification. MBA in Marketing or Pharmaceutical Management will be an added advantage.

• Experience:

  712 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Product Management, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or Sales and Marketing.

• Marketing Expertise:

  Strong understanding of brand management, product positioning, market research, competitor analysis, and promotional campaign execution.

• Sales & Analytical Skills:

  Experience in analyzing HQ-wise and product-wise sales performance, monitoring targets, identifying business opportunities, and developing action plans.

• Field Force Management:

  Experience in conducting joint field visits, coaching medical representatives, and delivering product and sales training.

• Communication Skills:

  Excellent presentation, interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for sales analysis, reporting, marketing presentations, and business reviews.

• Execution & Coordination:

  Ability to manage multiple marketing activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensure timely execution of projects.

• Commercial Acumen:

  Understanding of marketing budgets, demand forecasting, campaign effectiveness, and business performance metrics.
