Product Management (Associate Director)

As a Senior Product Manager for Observability & Security Integrations at Rakuten, you will play a crucial role in leading integration initiatives to elevate our observability and security platform. By collaborating with various teams, you will define and execute a strategic vision to provide customers with robust tools for gaining critical insights and driving informed actions. **Responsibilities:** - Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for integration and app catalog capabilities, ensuring they are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and industry standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop a deep understanding of customer use cases to deliver significant value through observability solutions. - Lead the design and implementation of user-centric observability and security features for easy access, analysis, and visualization of Observability & Security data. - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, leveraging insights to inform product development and positioning. - Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Observability & Security features and drive continuous improvement. - Engage with key customers and stakeholders to solicit feedback, validate product concepts, and ensure alignment with market needs. - Participate in go-to-market strategies by collaborating with product marketing and sales teams to effectively communicate the value of our capabilities. - Develop sales enablement materials to showcase the features and help customers understand their value. - Capture market and competitive intelligence to inform the platform's direction and ensure competitiveness. **Required Qualifications & Skills:** - 15+ years of experience in product management with a focus on observability, security, technical partnerships, app catalogs, and integrations. - Expertise in Traces, Metrics, Logs, and Context within observability and security, coupled with a strong understanding of best practices. - Ability to navigate complex decision-making and effectively communicate across diverse teams. - Understanding and ability to define technical specifications and translate requirements into product specifications. - Experience with UX design principles and methodologies for delivering intuitive user interfaces. - Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and measuring feature effectiveness. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with customers and teams. - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus. - Experience or exposure working as an SRE and understanding complex IT systems in large enterprises.
