Product Lead

What you'll do

• Architect and build multi-agent systems that run on real enterprise data, from prototype to production.
• Design agent workflows, tools and human-approval steps processes.
• Build the shared platform, covering connectors, retrieval, evaluation, observability and multi-tenant security.
• Set up evaluation and guardrails so every release is measured and safe for sensitive data.
• Work directly with clients in discovery sessions and demos, and turn what you learn into the roadmap.
• Mentor a small team and set engineering standards as we grow.

What you'll bring

• 5–7 years of hands-on software engineering, including 2+ years shipping LLM or ML products to production.
• Languages: expert Python (async, Pydantic, pytest), strong TypeScript/Node.js and advanced SQL.
• LLM engineering: production experience with frontier model APIs (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini), tool calling, structured outputs, and prompt and context engineering.
• Agent orchestration: LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK or similar; multi-step workflows, state, memory and human-in-the-loop design.
• Retrieval: RAG pipelines, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking and vector stores (pgvector, Qdrant, Pinecone), plus parsing PDFs and spreadsheets.
• Evals and observability: golden datasets, LLM-as-judge, regression evals in CI, and tracing (Langfuse, LangSmith or OpenTelemetry).
• Backend and cloud: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, OAuth/SSO, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, and depth on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Security: multi-tenant isolation, RBAC, audit logging, PII handling and prompt-injection defences.
• Frontend: enough React/Next.js and Tailwind to ship agent interfaces.
• A startup mindset: you ship fast, own outcomes, and are comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to business leaders.

Nice to have

• Model Context Protocol (MCP), durable execution (e.g., Temporal) or open-weight model serving.
• Integrations with ERP, CRM or insurance platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, Guidewire).
• Snowflake, Databricks or dbt.
