Product Design & Development - New Product Development

Role & responsibilities:

• Knowledge of engineering principles and methodologies
• Proficient in utilizing CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, for 3D modelling and design

Key Responsibilities / Tasks / Activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, manufacturing, and marketing to drive product development projects
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring they are achieved within specified timeframes and budgets
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control
• As a continuous process, identify products for standardization and undertake value analysis/value engineering initiatives to enhance product performance and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends, translating them into product requirements.
• Generate innovative ideas and conceptual designs, overseeing the creation of prototypes and testing plans
• Lead and manage the entire product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
