Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day business operations, manage the complete order execution cycle, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure timely delivery of products and projects. The role requires strong operational planning, IT product knowledge, vendor management, cost control, and team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure smooth workflow and coordination across departments.

2. IT Product Knowledge: Possess sound knowledge of IT products, hardware, software, networking, and related solutions to support operational requirements.

3. Order Management: Manage the complete order cycle, from purchase order processing to procurement, delivery, and project execution.

4. Purchase and Vendor Coordination: Manage purchase orders, vendor relationships, commercial negotiations, delivery schedules, and vendor escalations.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Technical, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and execution.

6. Order Tracking: Monitor order status, pending deliveries, backlogs, and customer commitments, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.

7. Delivery and Logistics: Plan and coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules to ensure the timely and smooth delivery of products and projects.

8. Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Prepare and maintain operational reports, track order status, monitor team performance, and provide regular updates to management.

9. Process Compliance: Ensure accurate documentation, adherence to company SOPs, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements.

10. Inventory Management: Coordinate inventory planning, stock reconciliation, and delivery documentation, wherever applicable.

11. Cost Control and Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps, improve workflows, optimize resources, and implement measures to reduce operational costs.

12. Escalation Management: Handle customer, vendor, and internal escalations and ensure timely resolution.

13. Team Management: Lead the operations team, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and promote accountability and efficiency.

14. Customer Commitment: Ensure customer orders and project deliveries are executed as per agreed timelines and commitments.
