Printing Press Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are looking for skilled and creative Printing Press Graphic

Designers who can transform customer requirements into professional, accurate,

and print-ready artwork for one of our client in HRS Layout.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, editing, preparing, and checking

artwork for various printing applications while maintaining high standards of

design quality, accuracy, color, and print production requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe

Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign, along with practical

experience in print production and prepress.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design & Artwork

 Design professional artwork for brochures, flyers, business cards, posters,

banners, catalogues, labels, invitations, packaging, and other printed materials.

 Understand customer requirements and convert them into creative and

professional designs.

 Create and modify logos, layouts, illustrations, typography, and other graphic

elements.

 Edit and retouch photographs and images as required.

2. Prepress & Print-Ready Artwork

 Prepare artwork according to required size, layout, paper, color, and finishing

specifications.

 Set up files correctly using CMYK color mode, appropriate resolution, bleed,

margins, crop marks, and final print dimensions.

 Prepare and verify print-ready PDFs and production files.

 Check artwork carefully for spelling, alignment, dimensions, image quality,

colors, and other production-related errors.

 Identify and resolve basic prepress and artwork issues before production to

minimize printing errors, wastage, and rework.

3. Printing & Production Coordination

 Prepare artwork for different printing processes, including offset, digital, screen

printing, flexographic, and large-format printing, as applicable.

 Coordinate with customers, sales staff, machine operators, and production

teams to understand and clarify requirements.

 Make necessary design corrections and revisions based on customer or

production feedback.

 Check proofs and assist with color matching and print-quality verification.

4. File & Workflow Management

 Maintain organized customer artwork, templates, fonts, images, and production

files for future requirements.

 Follow company procedures for file naming, artwork approval, archiving, and

quality control.

 Handle multiple design jobs efficiently while meeting production deadlines and

delivery schedules.

 Maintain accuracy and consistency across all assigned projects.

5. Continuous Improvement

 Stay updated with the latest graphic design trends, printing techniques,

software, and prepress standards.

 Continuously improve design quality, production efficiency, and knowledge of

printing processes.

 Strong knowledge of prepress and print production

 Understanding of CMYK and color management

 Good knowledge of typography and layout design

 Print-ready PDF preparation

 Knowledge of bleed, crop marks, resolution, and file setup

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy

 Good time-management skills

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

 Good customer and team communication

 Ability to work effectively under production deadlines

Candidate Requirements

Experience Minimum 1 year in Graphic Design / Printing Press

Kannada Must be able to communicate in Kannada

English Optional / Advantage

Hindi Optional / Advantage

Telugu Optional / Advantage

Tamil Optional / Advantage

Salary will be determined based on the candidate's:

 Relevant experience

 Technical and design skills

 Printing and prepress knowledge

 Interview performance

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Sunday: Holiday

Government Holidays: Holiday
