Principal Engineer, Machine Learning Group

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be involved in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to create cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. - Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software and applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system-level software solutions - Gather information on performance requirements and interfaces - Ensure the products meet and exceed customer needs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 6+ years - Minimum 4 years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. In the role of a Machine Learning Engineer at Qualcomm, you will create and implement machine learning techniques, frameworks, and tools to efficiently utilize state-of-the-art machine learning solutions across various technology verticals. You will be responsible for assisting with the software design and development of the Qualcomm Orchestrator SDK targeting platforms on Snapdragon. - Create and implement machine learning techniques, frameworks, and tools - Assist in the software design and development of Qualcomm Orchestrator SDK - Target platforms on Snapdragon for efficient utilization of machine learning solutions Qualifications Required: - Ability to work independently with no supervision - Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex information - 15+ years of industry experience, 5+ years in software development on Android/Linux platform - Experience with Android/Linux application development using C/C++ Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with LLM, LVM, LMM models, ONNX RT, and different NN architectures - Linux/Android software development experience - Software development experience with Python/Java is a plus Please note that Qualcomm India Private Limited values diversity and expects all employees to actively support diversity within their teams and the Company.
