Principal Consultant- Data Science & GenAI

The primary responsibility of this role is to customize, enhance, and implement Generative AI solutions using Infosys and Industry standard tools and platforms. You will be tasked with building MCP and Agentic based solutions using various frameworks. It is essential to apply Prompt engineering techniques to evaluate model behavior under different input conditions and refine prompts for improved accuracy and desired outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing AI applications using tools, capturing standard and custom metrics, and staying updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and testing methodologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is vital to ensure that prompts align with company objectives and user experience. You will also play a key role in identifying and reporting bugs, performance bottlenecks, and safety issues. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or equivalent and have 10-12 years of experience in Data Science, AI, ML, and Generative AI using various programming or scripting languages. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required, along with proficiency in Python development or any other language used for Data Science or AI/ML. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with a proactive approach to exploring and evaluating new technologies and tools to enhance development processes. The role also involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred, along with hands-on experience in Generative AI-based solution implementation. Preferred skills include expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, AI/ML Solution Architecture and Design, and proficiency in Python.,
