PRIMARY MATHS TEACHER

Role Summary:

The Primary Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, concept-based mathematics instruction to students from Grades 1 to 5, fostering a love for numbers, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The teacher must be adept at simplifying mathematical concepts and using activity-based teaching methodologies aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum for primary classes.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and mathematical thinking.
• Use teaching aids, manipulatives, technology, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts concrete and accessible.
• Regularly assess students’ understanding through oral questioning, worksheets, quizzes, and classwork.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for school assessments and competitions like Olympiads or Math quizzes.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas of improvement.
• Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and co-curricular activities.
• Identify learning gaps and provide individual support/remediation where necessary.
• Promote a growth mindset and instill confidence in students to approach math without fear.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
