Primary Math Teacher Grade 1-5

As a Math teacher at our school, you will play a crucial role in guiding Primary school students towards excellence in the subject. Your responsibility will be to inspire students and foster a love for Mathematics while following the school's liberal philosophy. You should be fluent in English and skilled in planning classes effectively to ensure optimal learning outcomes. - Teach Mathematics to students in middle and high school, delivering engaging, challenging lessons aligned with the school's curriculum. - Develop well-structured lesson plans that promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their practical applications. - Collaborate with colleagues to implement best teaching practices, contributing to continuous improvement in teaching methods and student learning outcomes. - Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and other assessments, providing timely feedback and personalized support as required. - Cultivate a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and a passion for Mathematics. - Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by school leadership, actively contributing to the school's overall development. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: BSc and/or MSc in Mathematics or a related field. BA Mathematics is also acceptable. - Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of prior teaching experience for students up to Grade 10. - Superior knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to simplify complex ideas for students of different skill levels. - Strong English communication skills to explain concepts clearly and promote a collaborative learning atmosphere. - Proficiency in planning engaging lessons that support students" overall mathematical growth and development.
