Role Description PRG Agitators India, a subsidiary of a leading German multinational, and is seeking an experienced and technically strong Sales & Application Engineer / Manager to drive growth and deliver innovative mixing solutions for complex industrial processes. This role is pivotal in converting customer requirements into opportunities and ensuring PRG remains the trusted partner across diverse industries. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, with travel required across India. Key Responsibilities Lead solution-selling initiatives for process equipment and systems. Manage RFQs, proposals, and techno-commercial negotiations. Develop and execute territory and key account plans. Collaborate with engineering and production teams for application support. Conduct site visits, trials, and commissioning coordination. Represent PRG at trade shows and industry events. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools. Required Qualifications Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Biotechnology/Bioengineering. Experience: Minimum 10 years in industrial sales within an engineering environment. Strong technical knowledge of process equipment (agitators, mixers, rotating machinery, P&IDs, sizing/selection, process calculations). Industry Exposure Proven familiarity with pharma, food & beverage, chemical, mining, and cosmetics sectors. Ability to translate complex customer challenges into engineered solutions. Core Skills Consultative & solution selling. Application engineering and technical support. Techno-commercial acumen and negotiation. Stakeholder management and opportunity qualification. CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce). Presentation and proposal writing skills. Location & Travel Based in Bengaluru . Operates across India and abroad with frequent travel. Success Profile Proactive and responsibility-driven. Thrives on converting challenges into opportunities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience with capital equipment sales and EPCs. Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance in pharma/food. Multilingual skills are a plus.
