Pragnya Priya Foundation will be requiring lab technician 1 Nos f Unit-2 Hospital Priya Cement free primary hospital, Sreepuram Village, Nandyal District, Pragnya Priya Foundation (PPF), a non-profit organization established in 2012 by the promoters of Hyderabad-based RAIN group, is looking for Lab Technician to join in the Priya Cement free primary hospital. Job Overview The Lab Technician is responsible for performing accurate and timely analysis of biological specimens in accordance with NABH standards. This includes routine and specialized testing in areas such as hematology, microbiology and clinical chemistry. The technician ensures quality control, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety and accreditation protocols. Key Responsibilities Technical Duties Collect and prepare specimens (blood, urine, tissue) for testing. Conduct laboratory tests including urinalysis, blood typing, cytology etc. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (microscopes, analyzers, centrifuges). Analyze and interpret test results, report findings to physicians. Prepare reagents and solutions for testing. Perform quality control checks and calibrate equipment regularly. Maintain accurate records of test results and procedures. Compliance & Safety Adhere to NABH and internal safety protocols for handling biohazardous materials. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of patient data. Participate in internal and external audits and proficiency testing. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and workspaces. Administrative & Supportive Functions Manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Respond to internal and external queries regarding lab results and procedures. Qualifications Education Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician. Licensure: Valid registration with the State Medical/paramedical board. NABL/NABH awareness training or certification would be an advantage. Experience 5 - 10 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
