Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PPC Engineer for a leading PEB company. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, material planning, scheduling, monitoring production progress, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch of PEB structural steel components.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on project requirements and delivery schedules.
- Plan and monitor manufacturing activities for PEB components, including columns, rafters, beams, bracing, and other structural steel members.
- Coordinate with Design, Detailing, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
- Monitor production progress against planned targets and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Prepare material requirement plans based on approved drawings, BOMs, and project schedules.
- Monitor raw material availability, including steel plates, sections, coils, and other fabrication materials.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP), production output, and pending orders.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- 37 years of experience in PPC, preferably in a PEB or structural steel fabrication company.
- Good understanding of PEB manufacturing processes and fabrication workflows.
- Experience in production scheduling, material planning, and order tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand BOMs.
- Strong coordination, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working in PEB, structural steel fabrication, or heavy engineering manufacturing companies.
- Experience handling multiple projects and production schedules simultaneously.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication processes from raw material planning to final dispatch.
