Job Title: Technical SEO Project Manager Location: On-Site Job Type: Full-time Reports to: Onshore Account Manager / SEO Lead Job Description: We are seeking a Technical SEO Project Manager with a strong foundation in search engine optimization (SEO), including both technical and content-driven aspects, combined with proven project management capabilities. This role will focus on improving organic search performance, managing multiple SEO campaigns simultaneously, and ensuring strategic alignment with overall business goals. Key Responsibilities: Technical SEO Execution Conduct comprehensive site audits to identify and resolve SEO issues (crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links, duplicate content, etc.) Perform keyword research focused on search volume, competition, and user intent (commercial, transactional, informational) Monitor, detect, and resolve internal linking issues (orphaned pages, broken internal links, inefficient structures) Implement best practices for on-page optimization (meta titles, descriptions, headers, image alt texts, schema markup, etc.) Track and evaluate algorithm updates (e.g., Google Core Updates) and adjust strategies accordingly Improve page authority using internal linking, topical relevance, and strategic content creation Optimize for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) across content and author signals Backlink Strategy & Off-Page SEO Execute white-hat link-building strategies including citations, and guest posting Perform backlink audits, disavow toxic links, and build high-authority links aligned with niche relevance Ensure proper use of NAP consistency for local SEO and citation management Content Strategy & AI Integration Collaborate with content teams to generate SEO-friendly content, leveraging tools like ChatGPT or Gemini responsibly Evaluate the SEO impact of AI-generated content; ensure originality, helpfulness, and alignment with Google’s guidelines Monitoring & Reporting Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush to monitor performance Track keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rates, traffic trends, crawlability, and other KPIs Diagnose traffic drops or ranking losses and provide strategic recovery plans Project & Team Management Manage 15–25 SEO projects concurrently without compromising quality or performance Create clear workflows, timelines, and delegation plans across teams Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders about project progress, goals, and ROI Prioritize tasks based on SEO impact, deadlines, and business objectives Collaborate with dev, content, and design teams to implement SEO recommendations effectively Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in technical SEO and project management Hands-on experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and custom-built sites Proficiency with SEO tools: GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Surfer SEO, etc. Solid understanding of ranking factors for both e-commerce and service-based websites Familiarity with keyword intent mapping and targeting strategies Understanding of E-E-A-T, YMYL guidelines, and content trust signals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management, team coordination, and client communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing multi-location local SEO campaigns Familiarity with AI-powered SEO workflows Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and structured data Project management tools knowledge (e.g., Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Monday)
