You will join the JMAG Indian Technical Sales team. JMAG is an electromagnetic simulation software developed in Japan by JSOL Corporation and used in the design of electromechanical systems (electric motors, generators, transformers, etc.). POWERSYS provides strong technical added value before and after sales for the software and its use. From engineering services to software development, POWERSYS offers the industry, research, and education a range of professional services in the field of electrical engineering. Your missions include managing a portfolio of existing clients located throughout India, developing new business opportunities within your portfolio, and driving sales pursuits with cross-functional Engineer teams. You will be responsible for building your overall pipeline of business opportunities, identifying potential customers, completing appropriate research on the prospective customers" business and technical needs, and developing relationships and strategies to successfully achieve new sales. You will also need to build and follow sales action plans to generate growth, ensure sales targets are met, build commercial proposals with the help of technical experts, present and promote Powersys products and services, and ensure operational relationships with partners. Additionally, you will be required to use CRM tools and update your customers" data daily. You are expected to have excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills, proven work experience as a Sales Engineer, proficiency with sales management software and CRM, familiarity in electrical FEA software and relevant vertical industry, and 1 to 5 years of experience in FEA software sales (preferably electrical FEA knowledge). A Bachelors degree (B.E/B.Tech/MBA) in business or a related field is also required. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of existing clients across India, identifying and developing new business opportunities within your portfolio, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to drive sales pursuits. You will be tasked with building a pipeline of business opportunities, conducting research on prospective customers" business and technical needs, developing relationships, and implementing sales strategies to achieve new sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and executing sales action plans to meet targets, preparing commercial proposals with the support of technical experts, presenting and promoting POWERSYS products and services, maintaining operational relationships with partners, and updating customer data using CRM tools. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills, along with proven work experience as a Sales Engineer and proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems. Familiarity with electrical FEA software and relevant vertical industries is preferred, and 1 to 5 years of experience in FEA software sales, particularly in electrical FEA, is desirable. A Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech/MBA) in business or a related field is required.
