Job Description:

Design develop and maintain Power BI reports dashboards semantic models and DAX measures
Develop end to end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse Data Warehouse and Notebooks
Build scalable Bronze Silver Gold data architectures using Fabric Lakehouse and Delta tables
Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and PySpark SQL
Design optimized Power BI semantic models using star schema relationships calculated columns measures and calculation groups
Develop complex DAX for business calculations time intelligence KPIs and analytical reporting
Implement Direct Lake Import and DirectQuery models based on performance and business requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Optimize Power BI performance using DAX optimization query reduction model optimization aggregations partitioning and incremental refresh
Implement Row Level Security RLS and security access controls
Integrate Power BI with Fabric Warehouse Lakehouse SQL Server Azure Data Lake and other enterprise data sources
Monitor and troubleshoot Fabric pipelines notebooks semantic models and Power BI refresh performance issues
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
Implement deployment and lifecycle management using Git integration deployment pipelines and Azure DevOps
Apply data governance naming standards metadata management and workspace security best practices
Experience with Microsoft Purview Fabric monitoring OneLake and Fabric capacity management is an advantage
