The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting molded plastic products to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining product consistency and minimizing defects during the production process. Key Responsibilities: Inspect molded plastic parts visually and dimensionally using gauges, vernier calipers, and other measuring instruments. Conduct in-process and final inspections as per quality checklists and SOPs. Identify and report defects such as shrinkage, warpage, short shots, flash, sink marks, etc. Approve or reject finished items by confirming specifications and return unacceptable products for rework. Maintain accurate inspection records and daily quality reports. Communicate with machine operators, production, and tool room teams to highlight recurring defects or improvement areas. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and internal quality requirements. Assist with internal and external audits as required. Qualifications & Skills: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics, or related field. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in plastic injection molding inspection. Sound knowledge of plastic molding defects and inspection methods.
