We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at a DPS Kollam. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have a range of learning disabilities and special needs. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, as well as collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure the success of all students. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing students' abilities and developing personalized learning goals Adapting curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of each student Providing support and accommodations for students during classroom instruction Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed Communicating regularly with parents, administrators, and other staff members Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with other professionals to support student success The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. 3+ years of Experience working with students with special needs is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Administration and operations: oversee all school operations admissions, timetable, facilities, transport, safety, school events, budgeting, compliance and reporting. Communication and stakeholder management: liaise with parents, staff, governing body, regulatory authorities, and the community; lead parent-teacher interaction, staff meetings and community engagement. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements: manage affiliations, statutory compliance, documentation, audits, and school policies. Promote school culture and values: encourage holistic development, character building, discipline, values and co-curricular excellence.
